Building A Mikvah In The Bahamas
For Jewish life to truly flourish, every community needs a mikvah—a cornerstone of family purity and a vital pillar of Jewish continuity. Yet in the Bahamas, this essential institution is still missing. Local Jewish women, along with thousands of visitors each year, currently have no proper, comfortable way to fulfill this mitzvah, turning what should be a deeply meaningful and accessible experience into a significant challenge.
The time has come to change that.
We are building the first-ever mikvah in the Bahamas — a beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and welcoming space that will serve generations to come. A historic milestone for Jewish life in the country.
